trying to keep faith...

Traci, Toni, Me
The Enciso Girls
My sister Toni went in for a routine surgery and got a puncture in her heart. She is 27.5 weeks pregnant and her and the baby were extremely critical. She had a little more than a pop can of blood in the pericardium around her heart. They had a pretty thin line to toe all night and don't seem to have improved. The baby's heart rate seems to keep rising. They're thinking about delivering her baby girl today. It's about 2 pounds. Please just keep her in your thoughts and prayers...
I took this when she was exactly half way through the pregnancy.

Busy Busy day! Sorry for all the shots today...I just did a TON. With the rain I wanted to get a new feature. So I shot the sun peeking through the clouds and a little something different through my rear view mirror...I NEVER do that. but I kinda liked the shot!

Rainy Day

I shot this a while back...but it still fits into the rainy day theme. It rained a lot of the afternoon here...and i just had some everyday stuff to shoot for the paper...nothing egg-citing.
So now go-on and get ya some cookies. Like this young chap did.

a "CUT" above.

Today was quite busy with single photos and such. Nothing really too spectacular to show...I did a little shoot for a man named Jim Miller who is retiring from S&T Bank...here is a photo from there.
Also, I went to a hair cut-a-thon which raised money for Alice Paul House it was pretty neat so here is my favorite photo from that assignment.

Nina Pivirotto of Greensburg and at student at Bella Capelli cuts the hair of Scott Vickinovac a Senior English Major from Palmira PA.

Anyway. I'm super tired today...Back to work tomorrow at 9 am! Wee.

Flaming Horse Poo and little puppies...

Working the 3-11 on Saturday is kinda Crappy...but today it was LITERALLY crappy. ha! I was doing some promo shots earlier in my shift, while killing time in between assignments, a structure fire went out for a horse barn...possible horses inside...I made my way out there. Even though it would make me late to my 5:30 shot. I ended up leaving the fire at 5:20. Who can resist. We all know we love these fire shots...to make a long story short...it smelled like flaming horse poo there. BUT I did get to see Paramedic Shawn W. MILLER!
Anyway My FAVORITE photo of the day is the smoking fireman! My caption for this photo is
If everything around you is smoking...you should be too!
Moving right along...My last assignment of the day was the "Black Ties and Tails" gala. I want this puppy so much! TOO CUTE!
