For the third year in a row I traveled to the State Track meet in Shippensburg over Memorial Day weekend. Janae Dunchak won the girls high jump for the fourth year in a row and newcomer Angel Piccirillo won the gold in the 1600 and the bronze in the 800. I look forward to what Angel will do in the future...she is such an amazing runner. My favorite part when she's done is that she doesn't even seem tired. I know for a fact I would be falling over ded if I ran as much as she does. Congrats to all the local athletes for even making it to states. I say it every year it's a tough scene.
A few weeks ago I shot some photos of my bestie Megan. I had done some work for her and her family in the past. After last semester Megan became a SR at IUP. So she asked me to take some college senior photos. Here are some photos from our shoot.
I had today off and was outside laying in the sun when I realized it's been a while since I shot any good photos of Henessey. I actually thought to myself...this is what people without kids do...they're creeps and shoot their dogs. But dang he is the most adorable thing I've ever laid eyes on...with four legs. So here is my little sleeze. <3
Blacklick FD and Blairsville FD to a 2 vehilce accident - car vs motorcycle
This is the 9-1-1 Media report post for the motorcycle accident. I got the pleasure of venturing out here after hearing on the scanner that this man was possible dead on arrival. He was not and Citizens' Ambulance Service and LifeFlight both worked hard to get this man in the air and on his way to conemaugh hospital. It's been a very long time since I've had a fatal accident so I was kind of nervous...but things worked out really well. And Droosh did a wonderful amazing job as the medic on scene. I love watching my co-workers in action. I just kinda love the lighting on these.
I am currently working as a photojournalist at the The Indiana Gazette where I have been on the staff since December of 2002. I did, however, leave to work at the Altoona Mirror for a year. I worked for a season shooting for the Altoona Curve. I save lives on Tuesdays at Citizens Ambulance in Indiana as an EMT.
